La Venta Inn is a historic Spanish-style villa in Palos Verdes, and the standout is easily the view. Its ceremony lawn sits high above the Pacific, with sweeping views of the coastline, Santa Monica Mountains, and Los Angeles in the distance. The lawn seats up to 200 guests, and on a clear day it's one of those ceremony backdrops that doesn't need much help.

The rest of the property gives couples a nice mix of indoor and outdoor spaces. The 1,050-square-foot Courtyard has a Spanish fountain, flowering arbors, and stone walkways that work well for cocktail hour or a smaller family ceremony. Inside, the 930-square-foot Ballroom has original wood-beamed ceilings, a working fireplace, and six doors that open to the ocean breeze, while the Garden Rooms have large windows overlooking the water and gardens. Couples also get two separate getting-ready spaces and exclusive use of the property.

For Korean American couples, the layout makes it relatively easy to give traditional parts of the wedding their own moment. La Venta has a dedicated Korean wedding page that specifically mentions paebaek, gyobaerye, and hapgeunrye, and suggests the Courtyard for a paebaek. They also advertise Korean wedding décor packages. We wouldn't take the page alone as proof that they're Korean wedding experts as it reads pretty heavily optimized for Korean wedding searches, but there is at least some documented familiarity here. We'd ask to see past Korean weddings and get specific about what their décor and coordination support actually includes.

Food and beverage are handled exclusively by Made by Meg Catering, so outside catering isn't an option. Their current catering menu does have some Asian-inspired choices, including Korean short rib bites and crispy rice with bulgogi, but there isn't an extensive Korean food selection. Couples hoping for an entirely Korean meal will probably find the menu limiting; couples who mainly want to incorporate a few familiar flavors have more room to work with.

Tables, chairs, setup and breakdown, sound equipment, parking, and a venue attendant are included, which makes the day relatively turnkey. Also worth noting: full events currently end at 10 PM, with everyone off the property by 10:30, so couples planning a late-night reception will need an afterparty elsewhere.

Best for Korean American couples who want a beautiful ocean-view California wedding first, with enough distinct spaces and flexibility to thoughtfully work traditions like paebaek into the day.
